What the Committee Does
The Health and Safety Committee works to provide students with resources, programming, and information to support their physical and mental health and safety at the University of Iowa. We often work with campus partners and the city of Iowa City to complete initiatives like safe transportation, living environments, and experiences downtown. We work toward all of this with the intent of keeping our students’ mental health at the forefront of our mission while advancing and destigmatizing wellness resources at the University of Iowa.
Why It Matters
We believe that the students at the University of Iowa can only have the best college experience possible in a safe environment with healthy habits and access to support in all areas of life.
