In partnership and support from the Iowa House Hotel, Undergraduate Student Government, Student Legal Services, the Iowa Memorial Union, University Housing & Dining, and Student Care and Assistance, students who are undergraduate, graduate, and professional status have the option to apply to stay in Lease Gap housing.

The Iowa House Hotel will provide temporary hotel rooms for University of Iowa students who live off campus, but may be without housing between the end of their 2022-2023 lease and the start of their 2023-2024 lease. The Lease Gap program will run from July 28^th to August 2nd, 2023. 

Additionally, there is free parking for students staying at the Iowa House Hotel at the Hancher Parking Lot. Students are responsible for acquiring the free parking pass for Hancher from UI Parking.
