In partnership and support from the Graduate Hotel, Undergraduate Student Government, Graduate Student Government, Student Legal Services, undergraduate, graduate, and professional students have the option to apply for lodging as a part of the Lease Gap Program.
The Graduate Hotel will provide temporary hotel rooms for University of Iowa students who live off campus but may be without housing between the end of their 2025-2026 lease and the start of their 2026-2027 lease. The Lease Gap program will run from July 28th to August 2nd, 2026. Parking in the Graduate Ramp is free with validation.
Rooms are $35 a night (USG subsidizes $55 for each night of your stay, for each room from the reduced cost of $90 per night). If you cancel your stay 2 weeks before the check-in date, you will be charged one night's full rate of $90. The application is linked here: Lease Gap Application!
