The University of Iowa Student Government 2018-2019 Platform outlines the goals and priorities of the current UISG administration. There are seven categories that initiatives are organized under: academic affairs, external relations, governmental relations, health & safety, justice & equity, student life, and sustainability. Our platform was created by assembling a Platform Creation Task Force, made up of seven student government members in either the executive and legislative branches.

The inspiration for many of these platform items came from all four parties participating in the 2018 UISG election: Student Collective Party, Surge Party, Empower Iowa, and Envision Iowa. It includes initiatives we wish to continue from past administrations, too. UISG would like to thank all the members of the Platform Creation Task Force, including Jenna Pokorny, Lauren Phalen, Guowei Qi, Sarah Henry, Colin Lakadat, Kristen Young, and Noah Wick.
