What are you looking forward to accomplishing in your role? Assisting affiliated and general student organizations in navigating the changes that affect how they access and manage funding.

Role Description: As Director of Purchasing, I am responsible for managing the procurement of items, services, and equipment on behalf of Affiliated and General student organizations. I ensure that all purchases align with funding applications that have been properly submitted and approved by the Finance Committee or other official USG approval processes. Once funding is approved, I facilitate the transfer of USG funds into designated accounts set aside specifically for student organization purchases. In addition to handling transactions, I work alongside the Director of Finance to serve as a point of contact between USG and student organizations in helping organizations navigate the funding process.
