The Parliamentarian serves as the Judicial Branch’s liaison to the Student Senate and acts as an expert on governing documents during Senate proceedings. Additionally, the Parliamentarian advises on points of order and parliamentary procedure, interprets relevant bylaws or constitutional clauses during debate, and ensures that all Senate actions comply with USG’s governing framework. The Parliamentarian also collaborates with Senate leadership and may assist in training senators or reviewing legislation from a constitutional standpoint.
