What are some goals and/or initiatives you are excited to work on this term?: This year, I want to help UI students feel safer on campus, especially during non-daylight hours and I believe increasing hours of CAMBUS operation would make an immense difference in making students feel safer on campus. Along with this initiative, I want to help expand the CAMBUS network so that students who live off-campus have as much access to CAMBUS as students who live closer to campus. I also want to work on student engagement by hosting more workshops with student organizations about how USG can help their organization and reduce some of the confusion that surrounds the process of funding and event planning. Another big goal of mine is to help make the University of Iowa a greener campus by organizing more Campus Cleanup Days in which students can log volunteering hours by picking up trash on campus which is a great way to get some volunteering hours while making campus cleaner and safer for everyone.
