What are some goals and/or initiatives you are excited to work on this term? As a pre-law student at the University of Iowa, I have experienced firsthand how challenging it can be to find internships and research opportunities; even locating these options can be a hassle. Being a student is difficult enough, and accessing these opportunities should be as simple as a click. One of our group’s initiatives aims to break down these barriers by streamlining the process for students to apply efficiently. By connecting students directly with organizations where they hope to intern or work, we can enhance connectivity across campus and support the success of University of Iowa students. This initiative allows students to select the internships, research, or volunteer positions they desire and apply or reach out to organizations in a much smoother way.
