What are some goals and/or initiatives you are excited to work on this term?: I am most excited to focus on addressing student needs and concerns through our legislative advocacy agenda. Advocating on behalf of students is an immense honor and I am excited to uplift student voices at the local, state, and federal level. This year, I am committed to raising the amount of money the University receives from the state to help University Counseling Services grow and better support our students. I am also incredibly eager to tackle the issue of affordable housing in student neighborhoods and begin the work to make off-campus living in Iowa City as accessible as possible.
