The University of Iowa Student Government (UISG) is proud to host the third annual “I’m the First” First-Generation Summit! This summit fulfills our long-standing goal of celebrating diversity and supporting our first-generation (first-gen) students.

The University of Iowa Student Government was excited to welcome internationally renowned climate activist Greta Thunberg to Iowa City. Greta has reminded political leaders of their moral responsibility to fight climate change.

UISG is excited to release the second annual Renter’s Guide. This guide incorporates data taken from an extensive survey that evaluated off-campus renters on their perceived level of service and quality they received from their landlord or property manager over the last year.
